AUGUSTA VILLANI

Veterinary Technician

Augusta is originally from south Florida and has been working with animals for almost 10 years. She obtained a degree in Equine Exercise Physiology from College of Central Florida in 2013 and went from working with horses to small and exotic animals. Augusta is an animal enthusiast and has 3 rescue cats and a rescue leopard gecko of her own.

STACI WALKER

Veterinary Technician

Staci was born at MRMC in Ocala, FL. She grew up on a quiet farm in Reddick, so animals were a normal part of her life, although cats were always her favorite. Graduating from North Marion High School in 2013, Staci moved onto college to become a certified Veterinary Assistant. She loves to rescue feral kittens and work hands on with them to help them become human friendly and find their forever homes! She's been working in the vet field for almost 4 years and is currently attending CF for Veterinary Medicine in hopes of becoming a licensed veterinarian.

PAULYN LEERS

Office Manager

Paulyn is our hospital manager and has been with us since 2007. She was born & raised in Iowa and has always had a love of animals and their well-being. She is constantly looking for new ways to educate clients in their pet's healthcare and wellness, as well as creating brochures, packets and keeping up with new veterinary products. When not at work she enjoys baking, gardening and spending time with her six cats, two dogs and canary.

MIRANDA MORRIS

Front Desk

Miranda joined the Brick City Cat Hospital in May of 2012. She likes working directly with the clients and their kitties. When not answering phones or writing up charts, she loves to dance or be on stage. She has four furry children at home. However, all the kitties at Brick City are part of her extended family.

VERONICA POZEG

Front Desk

Veronica came to us in 2009 after spending 10 years at the Humane Society of Marion County. She first fell in love with caring for animals while in high school when she became employed by the Puss & Pooch Motel in her local town in Pennsylvania. She learned the basics of animal boarding and grooming at that facility and then went on to expand her knowledge through personal studies and research. In her spare time Veronica designs and sells traditional Native American clothing. She also enjoys spending quality time with her large family of furry children and her 5 grandchildren.
